Abstract
Zaklada je imovina namijenjena da sama odnosno prihodima što ih stječe, trajno služi ostvarivanju neke općekorisne ili dobrotvorne svrhe, te je kao takva uređena Zakonom o zakladama.Važnost zaklada kao neprofitnih organizacija je njihovo djelovanje za opće dobro te odgovornost prema društvu, kao i promoviranje aspekta aktivnog sudjelovanja u zajednici. U radu se detaljnije obrađuje zakonski okvir zaklada u Republici Hrvatskoj, povijesni razvoj zaklada, ranija istraživanja, vrste zaklada, te koliko ima danas zaklada po županijama u Republici Hrvatskoj. Posebni naglasak u radu stavljen je upravo na primjere zaklada iz Karlovačke županije.
Abstract (english)
The foundation is an asset intended to permanently serve the realization of some public benefit or charitable purpose, with an income it acquires, and as such it is reuglated by the Act on Foundations. The importance of foundations as non - profit organizations is their action for the common good and responsibility towards society, as well as promoting the aspect of active participation in the community. The paper deals in more detail with the legal framework of foundations in the Republic of Croatia, the historical development of foundations, previous research, types of foundations, and how many foundations there are today in the counties of the Republic of Croatia. Special emphasis in the paper is placed on the examples of foundations from Karlovac County.
