Abstract
Zahvaljujući ženskoj borbi za jednakost i ravnopravnost tijekom posljednja dva stoljeća, postignute su mnoge pozitivne promjene po pitanju položaja žena na tržištu rada. Unatoč pozitivnom pomaku i dalje se javljaju slučajevi segregacije i diskriminacije podzastupljenih skupina na tržištu rada, pa tako i žena. Između ostalog, vrlo je važan rad na usklađivanju potreba tržišta rada s obiteljskim potrebama na zadovoljavajući način. Budući da su ravnopravnost i jednakost na tržištu rada temeljne pretpostavke za razvoj svakoga društva, bitno je težiti njihovom potpunom ostvarenju aktivno provodeći postojeće regulative te zajedničkim radom državnih institucija, lokalne samouoprave, nevladinih organizacija te društva u cjelini.
Abstract (english)
Owing to women's rights fight for equality during the last two centuries, many positive changes considering position of women in the labour market have been accomplished. Despite achieved positive changes, cases of segregation and discrimination of subordinate groups, including women, are still present in the labour market. Among other things, it is very important to work on harmonizing the needs of labour market with the needs of families in the satisfactory way. Since equality, it is important to strive to the their total accomplishment through implementing actively the existing regulations and common work of state institutions, local self-government, non-governmental organization and whole society.
