Abstract
Tema ovog diplomskog rada je “Suvremeni izazovi zapošljavanja mladih pravnika”, dosada nedovoljno obrađena tema od izuzetne važnosti za pravnu profesiju, ali u konačnici i za cije lo društvo. Cilj rada je prikazati izazove s kojima se susreću mladi pravnici od obrazovanja pa do stvaranja karijere na radnom mjestu. U prvom dijelu rada analizirani su studijski programi u Republici Hrvatskoj te primjerično dani programi u drugim državama članicama Europske unije. Poseban naglasak stavljenje je na odnos upisnih kvota te potreba na tržištu rada. Nadalje, obrađuje se pitanje uvjeta za pravosudni ispit, kao i sam vježbenički staž kao nužan korak ka putu samostalnog obavljanja pravnih poslova. Naposlijetku, navodi se nekoliko mogućih rješenja koje bi mogle pridonjenit boljem funkcioniranju sustava kao što je razvijanje poduzetničkih vještina kroz kolegije na drugim fakultetima unutar sveučilišta, jačanje networking mreže i ostalo. Međutim, najvažnije od svega je potaknuti raspravu o ovoj važnoj temi na opću dobrobit.
Abstract (english)
The central theme of this thesis is “Contemporary challenges of hiring young lawyers”, so far insufficiently covered topic of vital importance for the legal proffesion, but also for society in general. The aim of this paper is to present the challenges which young lawyers face from education to starting a career in the workplace. The first part od the paper analyzes study programs in the Republic of Croatia and then compares them with programs in other EU Member States. Special emphasis is placed on the relationship between enrollment quotas and labor market needs. Furthermore, the issue of relevant conditions for the bar exam is addressed, as well as the internship as a required step towards the path of independent legal work. Finally, several possible solutions are listed which could improve the system, such as developing entrepreneurial skills through the courses at other faculties within the university, strengthening the networking and others. Most important of all, however, is to stimulate discussion od this important topic for the common welfare.
