Abstract
Prava djeteta se odnose na svu djecu tijekom njihovog odrastanja, a uključuju pravo na slobodu misli i vjere, pravo na život, preživljavanje i razvoj, pravo na socijalnu zaštitu i financijsku podršku, zaštitu od nasilja i zanemarivanja, zaštitu od štetnog rada, uvažavanje mišljenja djeteta, pravo na pristup obrazovanju i mnoga druga prava koja štite interese i potrebe djeteta. Rad se temelji na pravu djeteta na obrazovanje koji se jamči Konvencijom o pravima djeteta i Ustavom Republike Hrvatske. Posebni naglasak je stavljen na prava koja imaju djeca sa poteškoćama u razvoju unutar odgojno-obrazovnih ustanova i promjenama u obrazovanju koje su nastale zbog pandemije COVID-19. U radu se trudi objasniti rad odgojno-obrazovnih ustanova odnosno vrtića, osnovnih i srednjih škola tijekom procesa obrazovanja djeteta.
Abstract (english)
Children’s rights apply to all children as they grow up, including the right to freedom of thought and religion, the right to life, survival and development, the right to social protection and financial support, protection from violence and neglect, protection from harmful work, respect for their opinion, the right to access education and many other rights that protect the interests and needs of the child. This paper is based on the child’s right to education, which is guaranteed by the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia. Special emphasis is placed on the rights of children with development disabilities within educational institutions and the changes in education caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In this paper, the main focus is explaining the work of educational institutions, i.e. kindergardens, primary and secondary schools during the process of a child’s education.
