Abstract
Digitalna era donijela je niz novih izazova za slobodu govora. Jednostavnost i brzina dijeljenja informacija na internetu dovela je do raznih online platformi gdje ljudi mogu izraziti svoja mišljenja i ideje. Međutim, ovo također stvara nekoliko izazova koji ugrožavaju slobodu govora. Jedan od glavnih izazova je problem govora mržnje i zlostavljanja na internetu. Anonimnost interneta može osnažiti ljude da izraze mišljenja koja ne bi izrekli uživo, što dovodi do širenja mrzilačkih i diskriminacijskih poruka. To može stvoriti neprijateljsko okruženje koje utišava pojedince i ograničava njihovu sposobnost sudjelovanja u online raspravama.
Abstract (english)
The digital era has brought with it a range of new challenges to freedom of speech. The ease and speed with which information can be shared on the internet has led to a proliferation of online platforms where people can express their opinions and ideas. However, this new landscape has also created several challenges that threaten freedom of speech. One of the primary challenges is the issue of online hate speech and harassment. The anonymity of the internet can embolden people to express opinions that they might not voice in person, leading to the spread of hateful and discriminatory messages. This can create a hostile environment that silences individuals and limits their ability to participate in online discourse.
