Abstract
Ovim radom dan je prikaz polazišta i razloga iza donošenja pravnog akta koji će na tržište Europske unije uvesti Digitalnu putovnicu za proizvode. Kroz presjek dosadašnjih međunarodnih ugovora i važnih postignuća s područja održivosti i zaštite okoliša, objašnjena je važnost ideje Digitalne putovnice za proizvode. Nadalje, kako se ovaj rad usredotočuje na tekstilnu industriju, ukratko je opisan razvoj iste te utjecaj koji ima na okoliš. Nastavno na navedeno, obijašnjen je problem s kojim se društvo susreće uslijed pretjerane proizvodnje otpada. Posebno je istaknuta “brza moda“ kao primarni uzrok ogromnih količina otpada na planeti. Naposljetku, u radu se obrađuje pravni akt kojim se uvodi Digitalna putovnica za proizvode, odnosno Uredba o uspostavi okvira za utvrđivanje zahtjeva za ekološki dizajn održivih proizvoda. Također se ističe cilj putovnice i projekt koji je postavio bazu za njezino uspostavljanje, pod nazivom CIRPASS. U zadnjem dijelu rada, istaknuti su pozitivni ishodi, modalitet primjene u stvarnom životu te način implementacije.
Abstract (english)
This paper presents the reasons behind the adoption of the legal act that will introduce the Digital Product Passport to the European Union market. The idea of the Digital Product Passport is explained through a cross-section of international agreements and important achievements in the field of sustainability and environmental protection. Furthermore, as this paper focuses on the textile industry, its development and its impact on the environment are briefly described. Moreover, this paper explains one of the biggest problem society faces due to excessive waste and its consequences, alongside with "fast fashion" as the primary cause of huge amounts of waste on the planet. Finally, the paper deals with the legal act introducing the Digital Product Passport, i.e. the Ecodesign for Sustainable Product Regulation. This paper contains deeper view of the CIRPASS, the project that laid the foundation for establishment of the Digital Product Passport. In the last part of the paper, the positive outcomes, the modality of application in real life and the method of implementation.
