Abstract (english)
This is the Croatian National Report for the topic of ‘Jurisdiction and Applicable Law in Matters of Intellectual Property’ for the 18th International Congress of the International Academy of Comparative Law held in July 2010 in Washington D.C. Following the detailed instructions by the General Reporter on the topic Professor Toshiyuki Kono, the Report is divided into two sections, the first section providing a general overview of the legal system and its rules in the fields of intellectual property law and private international law, and the second section discussing the hypothetical cases as if they were to be resolved before the Croatian court or other competent body.
